Lynda M. (Kirchner) Slevoski, 63

Georgetown — Lynda M. (Kirchner) Slevoski, 63, of Georgetown, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 8, in her home with her loving family by her side, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born May 10, 1949, in Chelsea, daughter of the late Doris A. Glennon. Lynda graduated from Chelsea High School, class of 1967. After high school, she met and married the love of her life, the late Charles W. Slevoski. For the last 18 years, Lynda was Vice President of Human Resources at Associated Industries of Massachusetts. Throughout her professional career she was blessed to make many lifelong relationships. She became known amongst her peers as "the hotline queen” for her extensive knowledge of the industry and problem solving ability. Lynda's passions were her family, her career, shopping, and her large ice coffee every morning. Nothing brought more of a smile to her face than her children and grandchildren, as she did for them as well.

She is survived by their two loving sons, Walter C. and his wife Denise (Tebbets) Slevoski of Merrimac, and Kurt M. and his wife Kathy (Savage) Slevoski of Georgetown. Lynda is the grandmother to Nicholas B., Peyton E., Logan W., Jake C., Abigail M., and Trevor M. Slevoski. ; and her siblings, Kenneth Kirchner of Texas, Drusella Pegnato of Salem, Roberta Lea of Nashua, NH, and Robert C. Meuse Jr. of Saugus; sisters-in-law, Barbara Dunn of Everett and Ruthann Carbone of Billerica, as well as several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Merton E. Roberts Jr. & Conte Funeral Home 14 Pleasant St. Georgetown, MA 01833. At the request of the family funeral services and burial will be private.

He worked as a carpenter and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was the son of the late Roland Raymond, and is survived by his mother, Regeanne (Deschenes) Raymond; four sisters, Francine Begin of Derry, N.H., Lise Rodrigue of Canada, Danielle Michaud of Methuen, and Pauline St. Pierre of Methuen; three brothers, Gaston Raymond of Canada, Alain Raymond of Lawrence and Carol Raymond of Derry; and several nieces and nephews.

She is survived by two sons, Michael Silvestro and his wife, Sandra of Methuen. and Dana Silvestro of Methuen; grandchildren, Michael Silvestro Jr. of Haverhill and Jennifer Silvestro of Methuen.

    Longtime resident of Andover, MA — Rosalie A. (Trubiano) Sullivan passed away peacefully Sunday evening, June 9, at The Wingate in Andover, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Francis X. Sullivan Sr., to whom she was married for 31 years. Mother of Francis X. Sullivan Jr. of North Andover and James M. Sullivan and his wife, Illona, of Saugus. Grandmother of Hannah, Braydon and Declan Sullivan. Sister of John Trubiano and his wife, Mary, of Sudbury and Gail Walsh and her husband, Jack, of Stoneham. Rosalie is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Born in Somerville, Rosalie graduated from Somerville High School and studied Accounting and Business Administration at Merrimack College. She began her career in Customer Service at the New England Telephone and Telegraph Company. Mrs. Sullivan would later work for Andover Bank for nearly fifteen years, primarily in Deposit Services. She received several awards for her performance and loyalty to the bank. Mrs. Sullivan was a member of the Indian Ridge Country Club for more than twenty-five years. She won the Ladies Nine Hole Championship and was active in the Women’s Golf Association at the club. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time on the course with her husband and two sons during the summer. She also enjoyed doing volunteer work, including helping out at the Activities Center at the Wingate, the Andover Public Library and raising awareness for the American Cancer Society. She was also a member of St. Augustine’s Parish in Andover.

She was born and educated in Malden, Mass., and she graduated from Malden High School and Northeastern University. Carolyn had the honor of serving on many boards and committees in Windham. She was a member and Chairman of the Board of Selectmen, a Library Trustee, a member of the Planning Board, a member of the Zoning Board of Appeals, a member of the Historic District Heritage Commission, a member of the Rail Trail Committee and the Depot Advisory Committee. She served for two years as State Rep for Rockingham County. She enjoyed her 1965 Red Mustang as well as playing golf, railroad track cars, hunting and collecting antiques. She was of Native American heritage of the Mi’kmaq Tribe.

  • Harold "Hank" S. Landers III, 52

    Salem — Harold “Hank” Stanley Landers III, 52, of Salem, N.H. died Sunday, June 9, 2013, surrounded by his loving children and family. Born in Somerville on April 11, 1961, he was the youngest son of the late Harold S. Landers Jr. and the late Irene (Pickett) Landers. Hank attended Somerville High School and Brown University. Hank played pro-baseball with the Milwaukee Brewers, and then played in the Boston Intercity League for the Andre Chiefs until 1998. He was inducted into the Brown University Athletic Hall of Fame in 1991 and the Intercity League Hall of Fame in 2011. Hank worked for MA-COM, Progressive Power Products, and Vicor Corporation. He was a loving father and leaves behind his daughter, Jenaleigh Landers of Manchester, N.H.; his son, Hal Landers of Salem, N.H.; and his son, Clayton Landers of Salem, N.H. He is predeceased by his parents and brother, David Landers. Hank is survived by his three sisters, Ellen Conroy and husband, Brian, of Hanson, Mass., Patricia Moro of Stoneham, Mass., and Clare Morin and husband, Joseph, of Pelham, N.H.; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be greatly missed.
