Derry, NH — Michael K. Lacharite, 48, of Derry, formerly of Pelham, died unexpectedly early Friday morning, February 28, at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Karen (Pothier) Lacharite who died July 4, 2013.
Michael was born in Charleston, South Carolina, February 3, 1966, the son of Ann Marie (Goterch) Lacharite of Pelham and the late Michael R. Lacharite. At an early age, his family relocated to Pelham and he attended St. Patrick School and Pelham High School.
He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy.
Most recently, Mike was employed as a Construction Supervisor with S.M. Harrington Contracting, Inc. in Dracut for over 20 years.
Among his many activities, Mike enjoyed camping and the outdoors. He loved animals, especially his dog, "Puppy." He was also an avid New England Patriots fan.
In addition to his mother, Michael is survived by two sisters, Erin M. Lacharite-Gibson and her husband, Richard, of Merrimack, NH and Danielle Lacharite-Brown and her husband, David Charles, of Los Angeles, CA; five nieces and nephews, Ethan S. Gibson, Zachary M. Gibson and Emma K. Gibson, all of Merrimack, NH and Wyatt R. Brown and Violet A. Brown, both of Los Angeles, CA; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends may call at the Pelham Funeral Home, 11 Nashua Road in Pelham, from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Memorial Mass to be celebrated Saturday morning at St. Patrick Church in Pelham at 10 o'clock. Please meet at church.
