Methuen — Irene M (Arcidiacono) Manzi passed away peacefully at Nevins Nursing Home on October 28, with her loving daughter, Sandra Found, by her side.
She was born in Lawrence on October 26, 1914 to Guiseppe and Rosa (Barbagallo) Arcidiacono and was educated in the Lawrence school system.
Irene was the ultimate homemaker, multitalented with unmatched creative cooking skills. She was also known for her ability to design and sew coverings for bassinets, draperies, and clothing for her children.

She was the widow of William M. Manzi, who passed away November 2, 1999. She is survived by four children, William Jr. and his wife Tania (Lopez) Manzi of Methuen, Angela and her husband John ‘Spike’ Boda of Boxford and Deerfield Beach, Fla., Sandra Found of Salisbury Beach, and Irene M. Stevens of Denver, Colo. She is also survived by a sister, Sarah Christofi of Stoneham and by a sister-in-law, Susan Arcidiacono of Methuen, 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by two daughters, Jacqueline Audrey and the first Sandra Jean, and brothers Michael, Joseph, Alfred, and Charles Arcidiacono.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be warmly received at visiting hours Monday November 5 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Rosary Church 35 Essex St. Lawrence. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery Lawrence.
