North Andover — Agnes Yule Foulds, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed early on Thursday November 8th 2012. Born in Gardiner, Maine on May 13th, 1917 to James and Agnes Yule of Lawrence, MA. She married Maurice S. Foulds July 4th, 1935 and they shared 61 years of happiness while being a long time devoted resident of North Andover, MA for 77 years. She leaves behind two sons, Maurice Foulds, Jr. and his wife Gerri of Center Lovell ME. And David W. Foulds and his wife Virginia of Sunset Beach NC., one daughter, Edith Paradis of Hudson NH and a daughter in law Virginia Foulds of North Andover, MA. She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren whom she adored. Many nieces and nephews will miss her greatly as well. Agnes worked at the family bakery, Foulds Home Bakery, until her retirement. She created, proudly designed, and decorated wedding, birthday, and special event cakes for her children, many of her grandchildren, and friends and neighbors During her retirement, Agnes kept busy knitting for the Prayer Shawl Ministry of Saint Michaels Parish. Besides her husband Agnes is predeceased by her son Donald “Porky” Foulds, a brother James Yule, and a sister Isabella Irving. Given any amount of time, Agnes’ infectious smile, thoughtful loving ways and friendly disposition would cause you to remember her forever.
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be Monday, November 12th, from 2-8 pm at Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St. North Andover, MA. The Funeral Services will be held November 13th, at 11 am in Conte Funeral Home. Burial to follow at Ridgewood Cemetery in North Andover.
