Andover — Christina B. Hunt, 91, of Andover, died on Sunday at Lawrence General Hospital, following a brief illness, surrounded by her family.
Christina was born in Andover on July 12,1922, to the late John and Margaret (Sime) Lawrie of Dundee, Scotland.
Christina was educated in local schools, and was employed at Western Electric and Genoa Meat Packing, until her retirement. She was active in the Moving On Group in Methuen.
Christina was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is survived by her daughter, Marjorie Douglas and the late Larry Douglas of Andover; and her son, Fredrick V. Hunt Jr. and his wife, Patricia, of Plympton, Mass.; and her grandchildren, Robin Boucher and her husband, Cary, of North Reading, Timothy Douglas and his wife, Rene, of Chelmsford, Martin Hunt and his wife, Jodi, of Haverhill, and Monica McComiskie and her husband, Michael, of Haverhill. She is also survived by her 11 great-grandchildren, Kyle, Ryan, Colin, and Caroline Boucher, Brandon, Cameron, Owen Douglas, and Bianca Giusto, and Hunter and Oliver McComiskie, and Isabel Hunt; as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be offered at 10 a.m., on Friday, at the Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence Street, Andover. Burial will follow in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover. Family and friends may call on Thursday, from 2 to 6 p.m., at the funeral home.
