Lawrence, MA — Kenneth R. Monroe, 88, of Manchester, Conn., and formerly of Lawrence, beloved husband of Cornelia (Quinlan) Monroe, died peacefully on Saturday December 21, 2013. Kenny was born April 5, 1925, in Lawrence, Mass., and was the son of the late Frank and Amelia (Hamilton) Monroe. He had been a resident of Manchester for most of his life. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by three sisters, Ruth Budd of Danvers, Mass., and Frances Torrisi and Shirley Lawlor, both of North Andover, Mass.; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by 13 brothers and sisters.
