Thompson, CT — Janice Elizabeth (Lake) Lamm, 53, of Thompson, Conn., formerly of North Andover, passed away on Sunday at Rose Moynihan Hospice Home in Worcester.
Janice was born in Saugus, Mass., on May 23, 1960, to Eli and Emily (Welch) Lake.
For many years, she was employed as a paralegal for the law firm of Raymond Cannon Esg.of North Andover.
Janice was very active woman. She enjoyed many outdoor activities such as skiing and kayaking. She was a volunteer with the Bretton Woods Adaptive Program, teaching people and veterans with disabilities how to ski. She was also past president of the North Andover Music Association.
She is survived by her husband, Ernest Wetzel of Thompson; her mother, Emily Lake of Chester N.H; her son, Joshua A. Lamm and his girlfriend, Lauren DeNapoli of Quincy; two brothers, Donald Lake of Arizona, and Gary Lake and his wife, Janet, of Chester N.H.; and her four nieces, Andrea, Sharon, Jennifer. and Candi. Janice was predeceased by her father, Eli Lake; and her daughter, Hannah Christine Lamm.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 4, at 11 a.m., at the Trinitarian Congregational Church, 72 Elm St., North Andover. Family and friends may call on Friday, January 3, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Conte Funeral Home 17 Third St., North Andover.
