Salem, NH — Phyllis N. Bidwell, 93, of Salem, New Hampshire, died on Wednesday, January 8, 2014, at Holy Family Hospital. Mrs. Bidwell was born in Boston and was raised and educated in Islington, MA. After her marriage in 1946, she lived in New Jersey and worked as a bookkeeper for Robert Trent Jones. She was also an active member of The Order of The Eastern Star in Caldwell, NJ. After retirement to Kissimmee, Florida, Phyllis and her husband enjoyed traveling around the country in their motor home. They visited 48 states and Canada. Seven years ago, she moved to Salem, NH to be close to her family. Phyllis was an avid Boston Red Sox fan and was featured in 2007 by The Eagle-Tribune as “fan of the day.”
The widow of Dwight S. Bidwell, her family members include her daughter, Barbara and her husband, Joseph Rossetti, of Salem, NH and her grandchildren, Samuel Rossetti of Reading, MA and Catherine Rossetti of Melbourne, FL.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are respectfully invited to visit on Monday, January 13, 2014, from 4 to 6 p.m. at The Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem, NH.
