North Andover — Jennie C. (Cuomo) Nardozza of North Andover and Naples, Fla., passed away peacefully on Friday, November 29, 2013, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, after a brief illness. She was born in Lawrence, and was the daughter of the late Quirinio and Merinda (Valentino) Cuomo.
Mrs. Nardozza was raised and educated in Lawrence. She retired from Raytheon Corporation after more than 30 years of service, and enjoyed spending winters at her home in Naples.
Mrs. Nardozza was predeceased by her beloved husband of 50 years, Louis Nardozza; and her siblings, Rose (Cuomo) Sasso and her husband, William, and Joseph Cuomo.
She is survived by her brothers, Raymond Cuomo of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Guido “Guy” Cuomo and his wife, Shirley, of Methuen; her sister-in-law, Vinnie Cuomo of Salem, N.H.; her brother-in-law, Emilio Nardozza and his wife, Gloria, of Lawrence; her devoted niece, Linda Schiavone and her companion, Joseph Parolisi of Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to recognize the nurses, doctors and staff of Merrimack Valley Hospice for their loving care and compassion along with Elder Services of Merrimack Valley.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, December 3, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, December 4, in the funeral home chapel. Entombment will be in St. Mary’s–Immaculate Conception Mausoleum, Lawrence. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., Bldg 9, Lawrence, MA 01843.
