Dexter E. Hoyt Jr., 63

Haverhill — Dexter Edward Hoyt Jr., 63, of Haverhill, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Twin Oaks Center, Danvers, Mass.

He was born in Lawrence on May 19, 1950, and was the son of Clara (Scione) Hoyt of Haverhill, and the late Dexter Edward Hoyt.

He graduated from Lawrence High, Class of 1968, and joined the U.S. Marines, serving in Vietnam and Okinawa. After proudly serving his country, Dexter worked at Davis and Furber in North Andover as a supervisor for many years and later at Wang Labs in Tewksbury.

Besides his mother, he is survived by his brothers, Wayne E. Hoyt and his wife, Diane, of Salem, N.H., and Gregory W. Hoyt of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; sister, Sharon A. DeLamarter of Raymond, N.H.; godchild, Holly Klein of Springvale, Maine; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

ARRANGEMENTS: At the request of the family, services will be private. Arrangements are by H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Homes and Cremation Service, Haverhill and Bradford.
