Methuen — Lorraine I. (Boucher) Frechette, 91, formerly of Lawrence and Methuen, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2013, at her granddaughter’s home in Westford, Mass.
Born in Skowhegan, Maine, she was the daughter of Fred and Mary Ann (McDonald) Boucher. She was educated in Lawrence schools and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. A homemaker and mother, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, and playing bingo, but her most joy was in caring for her family.
The widow of Omer Frechette, Sr., she is survived by her children, Lorraine Frechette of Hawaii, Robert Frechette and his wife, Sharon, of Methuen, Mass., and Mary Ann Wright and her husband, Harold, of Phoenix, Ariz.
Grandchildren are Tracy Silva and her husband, David, Katherine Brewes and her husband, Glenn, Tamara Alvino, Timothy Frechette and his wife, Jane, Christina Rosten and her husband, Paul, David Frechette, Michael Frechette and Shane Frechette. She also leaves 11 great-grandchildren.
Lorraine was the mother of the late Omer Frechette, Jr.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours for family and friends will be held on Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 12:15 p.m. in St. Monica’s Church in Methuen, Mass. Burial will take place at a later date at the family's convenience.
