East Hampstead, N.H. — Louis “Skip” Eiserman, 68, of East Hampstead, N.H. died on March 17, 2013, at his home. Skip was born on January 31, 1945 in Falls City , Neb., a son of the late, Louis and Irene (Kluba) Eiserman.
He was raised in Nebraska City, Neb. and taught school in Racine, Wisc. He held degrees from the University of Nebraska, the University of Wisconsin and Boston University. He was a resident of East Hampstead since 1976. He dearly loved teaching social studies in the junior high and high school in the Andover, Mass. school system and retired after 30 years. He was also a former delegate for the Massachusetts Teachers Association. Skip was an avid fisherman, hunter, and gardener. As an active member of the Hampstead Civic Club he enjoyed coaching basketball and baseball.
He is survived by two sons, Matthew L. Eiserman of Hooksett, N.H. and Scott J. Eiserman of Nashua, N.H.; one granddaughter, Samantha J. Eiserman of Hooksett; his former wife, Susan J. Eiserman of Exeter, N.H.; two sisters, Ann Waller of Minneapolis, Minn. and Mary Logan of Mt. Vernon, Iowa; one brother, Robert Eiserman of Crestone, Colo., as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two siblings, Ronald Eiserman and Celeste Kriefels.
ARRANGEMENTS: Following cremation, memorial calling hours will be held from 1 – 4 p.m. on Saturday March 23, 2013 in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry, N.H.
