Albert Henry Duston, 57

Bradford — Albert H. Duston, 57, of the Bradford section of Haverhill, died Thursday, March 21, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a long courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Born in Exeter, he was the son of Norman P. and the late, Alyce A. (Delorey) Duston. He was raised in Danville and was a graduate of Timberlane Regional High School, class of 1973.

For over thirty-three years Mr. Duston was employed as a machine tender for the Haverhill Paperboard Company in Bradford, till they closed in 2008.

Albert was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. A hard working man, he lived to provide for his family and give them all he had. When not working, he enjoyed all sports, playing baseball, basketball, bowling, and taking long walks, and the occasional poker game. The time he cherished most was the time spent with family.

He leaves his beloved wife of thirty-eight years, Kathleen (Thompson) Duston, of Bradford, a son, Thomas A. Duston and his wife, Lindsay, of Haverhill, two daughters, Melanie A. Fuller, and her husband, Michael, of Hudson, NH, and Kimberly J. Duston, of Bradford, five grandchildren, Melissa Rousseau, Brianna Duston, Chase Fuller, Ashley McGrath, and Evan McGrath, his father, Norman P. Duston, of Merrimac, MA, two brothers, Norman Duston, of Southbridge, MA, and Robert Duston, and his wife Judy, of Haverhill, four sisters, Terry and her husband Eddie Paradis, of Derry, NH, Mary Paro and her husband, Mark, of Allenstown, NH, Sylvia Maxwell, of Haverhill, and Penny Rizan, of Newmarket, NH, father in law, Donald W. Thompson, of Haverhill and several nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends are respectfully invited to call on Monday from 6 until 8 PM at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services will begin on Tuesday morning at 9:00 AM from the Funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 AM in Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St. Bradford. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St. Bradford.
