Haverhill — David C. Noyes, 50, of Haverhill, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at the home of his sister, after a courageous battle with A.L.S.
Born in Haverhill, he was the son of Mary (Noonan) and the late, Carl R. Noyes. Educated in Haverhill, he studied graphic communications and was a graduate of Whittier Regional Vocational Technical High School, class of 1980. As a printer by trade, he was employed by various printing companies throughout the area, Naimen Press, in Lawrence; Bowne Printing, in Boston; and Z.B.R. in Ward Hill, Bradford. He then went to work for the Home Depot in Plaistow where he worked in the tool rental department.
He was a motorcycle enthusiast and enjoyed traveling all along the East Coast on his Yamaha. His favorite trail was the Dragon Tail 318 curves in 11 miles in North Carolina. He was a talented mechanic, always tinkering with some project. His favorite hangout was at Tony’s Junkyard.
Always helping someone in need, David’s legacy should be to everyone “Pay it Forward” in memory of him since that is something he always did.
He leaves two sons, Timothy Egan and Joshua Noyes, of Haverhill; his mother, Mrs. Mary (Noonan) Noyes, of Bradford; a sister and brother in law with whom he lived, Carlene “Penney” (Noyes) and John W. DeMaris, of Bradford; and niece, Stacey Guptill, of Plaistow.
