Salem, NH — Rooney Delim, 67, of Salem, N.H., died on Monday at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, Boston, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in San Fabian, Philippines, where he grew up and was educated. He was a resident of Salem for the past 16 years. Mr. Delim worked for Insight Technologies in Manchester, N.H. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem. He enjoyed cooking dinner for his family and singing his favorite tunes. He loved animals, sports. and was an avid Boston Celtics and Red Sox fan. He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Cayabyab) Delim of Salem; son, Roy and his wife, Melissa Delim of Salem; daughter, Ruella Delim and her fiancé, Mike Farrell of Derry, N.H.; siblings, Guilen, Flor, Gloria, and Linda, all of the Philippines; and granddaughter, Ryeanne Delim.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 30, at 10:30 a.m., at Mary Queen of Peace Church, Salem. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem. Calling hours will be on Thursday, August 29, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.
