Cecelia M. Pelczar, 87


Groveland — Cecelia M. (Wieczerzak) Pelczar, 87, of Groveland, died Sunday, August 11, at Mass General Hospital, Boston.

She was born in Haverhill on August 2, 1926, and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Paszko) Wieczerzak.

Mrs. Pelczar was educated in the Haverhill School System, and graduated from Haverhill High School.

For over 15 years, she was employed in the Crystal Room at the former AT&T, and prior to this was employed at the former Cleary’s Cleaners, Haverhill.

She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and stamp collecting.

Mrs. Pelczar was the wife of the late Walter J. Pelczar, who died in 1997. Her survivors include two sons, Richard Pelczar and his wife, Marge, of Groveland, Robert Pelczar and his wife, Jo-Ann, of Haverhill; two daughters, Andrea Bentley and her husband, Gary, of Center Barnstead, N.H., Cynthia Grenda and her husband, Brian, of Sandown, N.H.; eight grandchildren, Vanessa Moeschen, Brad Bentley, Matthew Pelczar, Kyle Pelczar, Samantha Bishop, Branden Bishop, Kathryn Pelczar, and Ryan Pelczar.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral on Friday morning, August 16, at 10 a.m., from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m., in All Saints Church, Haverhill. Burial will be in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
