Virginia Lavoie, 94

North Andover, formerly of Saugus — Mrs. Virginia (Taylor) Lavoie, 94, died on Monday, November 18, at her home in North Andover.

Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late William and Helen (Peppard) Taylor. Mrs. Lavoie worked as the head tester and assembler of airplane instruments for General Electric in West Lynn during WWII. She was also past president of the DeMolay Mothers Club in Saugus.

Mrs. Lavoie leaves one son, Robert Lavoie of North Andover; two nieces, Cynthia Cosby of Methuen, and Karen Riousseau of Haverhill; and several grand nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by two sisters, Gertrude Buckley and Barbara Chick.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Thursday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m, in the funeral home.
