Rev. Stella L. (Cooper) Mosqueda


Georgetown — - Reverend Stella Lucille (Cooper) Mosqueda, passed away on December 31, 2012 surrounded by her family in Georgetown.

Stella was born in Franklin Furnace, Ohio on March 9, 1931. She traveled to Cuba on her 21st birthday as a missionary, where she met and married her husband, Reverend Ignacio Avila Mosqueda, who preceded her in death. Throughout her life, Stella worked tirelessly for the Lord as both a minister with the Assemblies of God and as a nurse.

She is survived by her children, Cecilia Joy Marquez (Mosqueda), Cristina Jill Mosqueda and Caroline Gregan; grandchildren, Beth Smith, Allison Parker and Hannah Gregan; great-grandchild, Annaka Smith; additional family members, Juan Marquez, Kate Scarcella, Doug Gregan, Kyle Smith, and Nic Parker; brothers, Delbert Cooper, Glenn Cooper, Oscar Cooper, and Gary Cooper. Stella has gone on to a better life.

ARRANGEMENTS: She will be honored at a memorial service on Sunday, January 6 at 3 p.m. in the New Life Christian Assembly of God Church, 966 Main Street, Haverhill. Following the service, all gifts of flowers will be delivered to local nursing homes in her memory. Arrangements by the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford.
