Robert F. Drago, 52


Newton, N.H. — Robert F. Drago, 52, of Newton, N.H., passed away early Sunday morning from a sudden heart attack. Bob was born in Methuen where he attended Methuen high school and graduated from Northern Essex Community College where all three of his children attended.

He was a beloved member of the Drago family and to the Raytheon Company in which he was employed for 33 years. Bob was a devoted father, husband and mentor to all he touched and everyone he met. He was a leader, decision maker and a very unique man. He enjoyed the wonderful food he cooked for his family and friends; no one left his house without his gourmet dinners. He was also an avid outdoorsman that showed so many people how to hunt. He is just one of those people you meet once and never forget twice. Bob was known for his sarcastic sense of humor and ability to make everyone laugh and feel comfortable in his presence. He will always be remembered as warm and welcoming.

Bob is survived by his beloved wife, Sharon; son, Randy; twin daughters, Tania and Tessa, all of Newton, N.H.; his parents, Joan Blondin of Salem N.H.; and Arcangelo Drago of Lawrence; four brothers, Charles R. and Joseph D of Methuen, Anthony of Salem, N.H., Christopher A. of Lawrence; sister, Mary A. of Owings Mills, Md., and several nieces and nephews as well as the many he has touched.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends will be received at visiting hours on Friday, January 11, 2013 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen. His funeral service will take place Saturday, January 12 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home Chapel. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery Salem, N.H.
