Northwood, N.H. — Lorraine M. (Carrier) McLaughlin, age 80, of Northwood, N.H., died Thursday at the Elliot Hospital, Manchester, N.H. She was born in Lawrence.
She grew up in Methuen and Dracut, and graduated from Dracut High School. She was a resident of Northwood for the past three years, formerly of Manchester, N.H., and a long time Methuen resident. Lorraine retired from Raytheon in North Andover, where she worked for many years. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Alice (Bisson) Carrier.
She was predeceased by her husband, George R. McLaughlin and her brother, William Carrier. She is survived by her sons, George R. Jr. and his wife, Barbara McLaughlin of Fremont, N.H., Stephen and Corinne McLaughlin of Raymond, N.H., Kenneth and Janine McLaughlin of Raymond, N.H.; sister, Gloria Eno of Dracut; grandchildren, Jennifer, Stephen, Jessica and Kimberly; several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, January 28 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Salem, N.H. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem. Calling hours will be Sunday, January 27 from 2-6 p.m. at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St, Salem, NH.
