JoAnne (Austin) Weidner, 89

Bradford — JoAnne (Austin) Weidner, 89, passed away peacefully

surrounded by loved ones on January 11, 2013. JoAnne was the wife of the late Edward A. Weidner, married for over 40 years and raised her family in Bradford before enjoying Florida and New England seasonally.

JoAnne will be greatly missed by her family and friends and remembered for her easy going personality, peacemaking abilities, her generosity and unconditional love. Born in Athol, on June 7, 1923, JoAnne was the daughter of the late Walter B. and Ruth E. Austin.

JoAnne is survived by her five children, Thalia S. Marino, Kimberly J. Fontaine, Austin Jeffery Weidner, Gary E. Weidner, and Susan Weidner Gouin; grandchildren, Robin L. Feole, Christopher Kutensky, James M.Gouin, Jr., Elizabeth R. Gouin, Renee J. Fontaine, Samuel R. Fontaine, Joseph E. Fontaine, Scott Marino, Michael Marino, Deborah Bell; great-grandchildren, Anthony M. Feole, Olivia J. Feole, Ava Maria Teles and Anthony Carter Teles; several beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces

and great nephews.

JoAnne survived her five siblings, Walter B. Austin, Natalie (Austin) Foster, John Austin, Elizabeth “Betty” Lewis and Dana Austin. We love you all and know you are all together. The family would like to thank everyone at Baker-Katz for their loving and dignified care provided for JoAnne and her family.

ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and relatives will be received at the memorial service, First Church of Christ, 10 Church Street, Bradford on Saturday, February 2, at 11 a.m. followed by a fellowship meal at Roma Restaurant in Bradford. JoAnne’s wishes were honored by joining her ashes with her beloved husband with private burial by Dole, Childs & Shaw Funeral Home, 148 Main St., Haverhill.
