Pepperell, MA. — Laura B. (Sadzewicz) Tombarello entered into eternal life on Jan. 27, 2013 at the age of 89. She was the daughter of Sophia and Stanley Sadzewicz of Lawrence, MA. She was born on Jan. 26, 1924. She and her husband Rocco Tombarello lived in Lawrence, MA, most of their married life and they also lived in Cape Coral, FL during their retirement. After the passing of her husband she made her home in Cape Coral with her oldest grandson Kenneth Mark Hering for five years where they built and lived together in a brand new home. Laura moved back to MA in 2005 and has resided with her daughter Jane, her son Michael and her son-in-law Paul Poirier of Pepperell, MA for the last 7 years of her life.
She was a devoted wife of 47 years to Rocco J. Tombarello (passed Sept. 3, 1990). She was the Mother of four children. Rocky Tombarello (passed Dec. 1988) Carol Hering-Baechle married to Robert E. Baechle of Milford, NH, Jane Poirier, married to Paul Poirier of Pepperell, MA and Michael J. Tombarello of Lawrence, MA . She also helped to raise two step children Joseph P. Tombarello (passed 1964) and Louise Gallegos, married to Leo Gallegos of Medesto, CA.
Laura had 11 Grandchildren, Kenneth Hering of Ft. Myers, FL Steven Hering of Plaistow, NH Robert Hering of Methuen, MA Glen Hering of Milford, NH, Peter St. Jean of Dorchester, MA Andrew Poirier of Leomister, MA Steven Poirier of Chelmsford, MA Jeff Poirier of Fitchburg, MA Anthony Tombarello of Haverhill, MA Jared Tombarello of Haverhill, MA, Joseph Tombarello of Derry, NH. She also leaves six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Her most recent career was in Cape Coral, FL where she took care of a Special Populations Group of young adults with special needs. While living in Massachusetts she worked at various establishments but her primary joy in life was being a homemaker. Her passions were baking and cooking and reading, swimming, sewing, knitting and crocheting. Her smile was worth a million dollars and she loved to make everyone laugh.
She was educated in Lawrence MA where she attended Holy Trinity School and Lawrence High School. Laura, Mom, Nana, or LT as she was endearingly referred to by her loved ones, lived loved and laughed her entire life and will forever be missed by any who had the pleasure to spend time with her.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her memorial services will be held on Thursday January 31, 2013 at 6:00pm at The Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Methuen, MA.
