Madeleine "Maddie" M. Bouchard, 83

Lawrence — Miss Madeleine “Maddie” M. Bouchard, 83, of Lawrence, died Wednesday at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. Born in Lawrence Miss Bouchard had been an area resident all her life.

A graduate of St. Anne High School, she worked at Western Electric / Lucent Technologies where she was employed as a secretary till she retired after 31years. Miss Bouchard was a member of the former St. Anne Parish where she was very active, having taught first grade and CCD classes. She was also a Good Shepard Affiliates member for 30 years. Miss Bouchard also belonged to the Pioneers of America and St. Monica Parish. She will be missed by her family and friends. She brought her joyful spirit, kindness, and compassion to all who knew her.

The daughter of the late, Narcisse and Marie Rose (Deshaies) Bouchard and sister to the late, Roland Bouchard and Jeannine Norton, she is survived by one sister, Jacqueline and her husband, Joseph Menihane of Methuen; one sister-in-law, Eleanore Bouchard of Methuen; and one brother-in-law, Joseph Norton of Lawrence. There is also one uncle, one aunt, several nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11 a.m. at St. Monica Church in Methuen. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence.
