Audrey M. DuGrenier, 81

Bradford — Audrey M. (Burchell) DuGrenier, 81, of Bradford, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.

Audrey was born in Haverhill, the daughter of John H. and Mary Ellen (McGonagle) Burchell. She was a member of the first graduating class of Sacred Hearts School and was a graduate from Haverhill High School, class of 1949. She attended the Kathleen Dell Secretarial School of Boston where she was crowned Queen of the Annual Ball.

After raising her family Audrey was employed by the Haverhill School District.

She leaves her beloved husband of fifty-nine years, Arthur A. DuGrenier, five daughters, Ann M. Croatti, and her husband, Robert of Southborough, Diane E. Bottcher and her husband Steven of Bow, N.H., Mary E. Cote, of Bradford, Julie A. Carven, and her husband, Joseph, of Amesbury, and Katie G. Keefe, and her husband, Kevin, of Bradford, fifteen grandchildren, a great- grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Grace E. Hart, her brothers John and Donald Burchell, and a great-granddaugher, Kaylee M. Dimetri.

ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are respectfully invited to call on Wednesday from 4 until 7 p.m. at the Kevin B. Comeau Funeral Home, 486 Main St. (Rte 125) Haverhill. Funeral services for Mrs. DuGrenier will begin on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. from the funeral home with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., to be celebrated at Sacred Hearts Church, South Main St. Bradford. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem St., Bradford. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association, MA Chapter, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA, 02472.
