Anthony J. Pero, 60


Salem, N.H. — Anthony J. Pero 60, beloved husband of the late Ellen (Thayer) Pero, died Saturday, March 30, 2013, at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.

Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of Napoleon G. and Maria J. (Patti) Pero of Beverly. He graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1971.

Mr. Pero had been employed for eighteen years as a supervisor at the New England Medical Center in Boston until the time of his retirement.

A longtime resident of Beverly and Marblehead prior to moving to Salem, N.H., he was a dedicated Red Sox fan and enjoyed cooking and working in his vegetable garden.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by three daughters, Joanna Claar and her husband, Chad of Milford, N.H., Angela Pero of Salem, N.H., and Victoria Pero of Peabody, two grandchildren, Bailey and Tyler Claar and one sister, Arlene Pero of Beverly, two brothers, Robert Pero of Tewksbury and Paul Pero of Salem, N.H.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral services will be held at the Campbell – Lee, Moody, Russell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly (North Beverly location) Friday, April 5, 2013, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friend invited.
