Harriet (Panteles) Pappas, 93

Haverhill — Harriet (Panteles) Pappas, 93, passed away quietly at Penacook Place in Haverhill on Thursday, June 27, 2013.

Harriet was born in Haverhill, and was the daughter of Milton and Mersini (Coparanis) Panteles. She was the loving wife of the late Peter W. Pappas for 49 years.

She is survived by her brother, Steven Panteles; her daughter, Gail Pappas Kolizeras;and her two adoring grandchildren, Peter Steven Kolizeras, Electra Kolizeras Masi and her husband, Andrew. The joy of her later life were her two great-grandchildren, Lily Harriet and Andreas Masi.

Harriet’s happiest days were spent as a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She lovingly shared her life with her devoted family. Her selfless examples of love and caring are her legacy to be carried on by those she has left behind.

The family wishes to thank the caring staff of Penacook Place, where Harriet spent her final days.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her funeral on Wednesday, July 3, at 10 a.m., from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m., at the Holy Apostles Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 154 Winter St., Haverhill. Interment will follow in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
