Melissa Kolifrath-Landry, 37


Derry, N.H. — Melissa Kolifrath Landry passed peacefully in her sleep Saturday, November 18, 2012.

Melissa was the daughter of David and Linda Kolifrath, and the mother of David Joseph Landry, all of Salem, N.H.

Melissa attended Salem, N.H. schools and graduated from St. Mary's High School in Lawrence. She attended programs for the Gifted and Talented at The Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, and was a student at Montserrat College of Art in Beverly.

In her free time, Missy enjoyed spending time with her son and her five wonderful nieces and nephews, who adored her and always looked forward to seeing her. She loved all fields of art, crafts and sewing. She was an avid reader of non-fiction and Self Help. Missy spent much of her time at various self-help groups in the Derry area.

Missy also loved spending time with her extended family, particularly at the family's annual summer beach vacation.

In addition to her beloved son and parents, Melissa is survived by her two sisters, Jennifer (Kolifrath) Koener and her husband, Matthew and their children, Matthew, Elizabeth and Addison, and Allison (Kolifrath) Robb and her husband, Scott and their children, Emma and Scotty. Missy is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: A celebrationn of life will be held on December 18.
