Methuen — Alfio “Alfred” Bella, 89, of Methuen passed away peacefully Tuesday at home surrounded by his family. He was born in Lawrence son of the late Guiseppe and Vincenza (Catalano) Bella. Alfio was educated in the Lawrence School System.
Alfio worked as a machinist at the former Davis & Furber Company for over 30 years before his retirement. Alfio enjoyed watching old movies and enjoyed being outdoors working in the garden, he also enjoyed doing carpentry work around the house.
He is survived by his wife, Rosaria (Caruso) Bella of Methuen; a son, Joseph G. Bella; daughter, Angela M. Bella both of Methuen; he also leaves several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to his funeral service on Saturday November 24, at 10 a.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery Lawrence.
