Haverhill — Santa M. (Piccolo) Januszewski, 91, of Haverhill passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Merrimack Valley Hospital in Haverhill.
She was born in Fitchburg on October 12, 1921, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Tomasello) Piccolo.
Santa was a graduate of Orange County Junior College in Calif. and was employed as a bookkeeper at the Prudential in Boston as well as Brigham & Women’s Hospital. She loved to dance and at one time was a Vaudeville professional dancer.
She was the wife of the late Joseph Januszewski who was KIA during the Korean War and is survived by her sons, Joseph J. Constantino and his wife, Marta of Montgomery, Texas and Mark S. Januszewski and his wife Davene of Kauai, Hiawaii; brothers, Morris Piccolo of Bradford, Daniel Piccolo of Plaistow, N.H. and Joseph Piccolo of Washington D.C.; sisters, Grace Jameson of Salem, N.H. and Rose Palmer of Bradford; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her memorial service on Tuesday, December 4 at 11:15 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St. Haverhill. An hour of visitation will precede the service on Tuesday morning from 10-11 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be private in St. Patrick Cemetery, Haverhill.
