Mary E. (Fiorentini) Breault

Bradford — Mary E. (Fiorentini) Breault, 91, longtime Bradford resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday evening, December 9, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Breault was born in Haverhill on September 30, 1921, daughter of the late Augusto and Angelina (Ciopola) Fiorentini. Mary was raised in Haverhill and educated in Haverhill schools. She continued her education at Bridgewater State Teachers College, and received her Masters Degree from Columbia University, New York City. An accomplishment at the time, Mary was proud of having her degree signed by then President of Columbia University, Dwight D. Eisenhower. She went on to teach at the New Haven State Teachers College for several years before returning to Haverhill.

Loving wife of 61 years of Richard A. Breault, she and her husband raised their family in Bradford sharing wonderful memories together over the many years. They also shared homes in Rye, NH, and Palm Beach Shores, FL. Member of the Haverhill Country Club for years, her activities included tennis and golf. Mrs. Breault was honored by Cardinal Humberto Medeiros as the first female President of any Parish Council in the Archdiocese of Boston for her participation in the Sacred Hearts Church Parish Council.

Mrs. Breault and her husband enjoyed traveling extensively throughout the World including the Far East and Europe, bringing back many personal experiences. Most of all, Mrs. Breault was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many. She will be remembered for her positive spirit, boundless energy and guiding wisdom. To all who love her she will be deeply missed.

Her surviving family members in addition to her husband, include her loving children, Cathy Carpenter of Reseda, CA, Fran Boland and her husband William of Bradford, Maria DeLuco and her husband Stephen of San Francisco, CA, Liz Hollis of Hampton, NH, and Rich Breault and his wife Sue of Haverhill; grandchildren, Tracy Porter, Maria, Rachel and John Boland, Jack and Tomas DeLuco, and Sarah, Matt and Mike Hollis; great-grandchildren Nyla and Roman Porter; sister, Rita Thuotte of Bradford; and several nieces and nephews; sister of the late, Frank, John and Henry Fiorentini.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral Services will be held, Friday morning, December 14, beginning in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street, Bradford at 10:00 AM. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Sacred Hearts Church, 165 So. Main Street, Bradford at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Salem Street, Bradford. Visiting hours will be held Thursday in the Driscoll Funeral Home, 309 So. Main Street (Rte. 125), Bradford, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
