Salem, N.H. — Norma (Bouchard) Young, 65, of Salem, N.H., died Friday at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Caribou, Maine, grew up and was educated in Salem, N.H., where she was a resident for more than 50 years. Norma owned and operated Dusty’s Convenience Store in Salem, N.H. She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem. She enjoyed putting floats in the Salem Christmas parade. She enjoyed traveling and trips to Las Vegas and Foxwoods. Most of all Norma enjoyed spending time with her family, especially during the holidays and she loved spoiling her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Michael Young, of Salem; daughter, Denise Young, of Salem; sons, Michael and his wife Lisa Young, of Methuen, MA, James and his wife Karen of Pelham, N.H., Billly and his wife Maria Young, of Salem; brother, Victor Bouchard, of Florida; sisters, Rose Marie Berek, of Salem, Dora Bouchard, of Salem, 12 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 4, at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, Salem, N.H. Burial will follow in Gibson Cemetery, Pelham, N.H. Calling hours will be Wednesday, April 3, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H.
