Sr. Denise Pinsonnault, 90


Methuen, MA — Sr. Denise Pinsonnault, 90, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at the Saint Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary in Methuen.

Born in North Attleboro, Mass., and educated in Coaticook, PQ, she was the daughter of Albert and Davignon (Rosaline) Pinsonnault. She entered the Sisters of the Presentation of Mary in Hudson, N.H., in 1942 and professed her vows in 1944, also in Hudson. Sr. Denise served as a piano and voice teacher in various places including Maine and New Hampshire. In 1952, she served in Japan and continued her work as a music teacher as well as an English teacher until 1997, when she came to Methuen.

Sr. is survived by one sister, Sr. Rachel Pinsonnault, PM, also of the Presentation of Mary.

ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be held on Friday, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., at the Saint Claire Residence of the Presentation of Mary, 209 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA, 01844. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, at 2 p.m., at the Presentation of Mary Chapel, with burial in the Presentation of Mary Cemetery in Methuen.
