Salem, NH — Menick Beauregard, 62, passed away peacefully at his home on September 17, 2013, surrounded by his loving family after his courageous fight with cancer. Born in Packington, Canada on June 10, 1951, Menick was the son of the late Stanislas Beauregard and was predeceased by his brothers, Clement and Bertrand Beauregard and father-in-law, Simon Dumont.
Menick worked as a Union Carpenter with Local 218 for twenty-five years. He enjoyed going to Chartierville, Canada where he owned a home and enjoyed fishing and four wheeling with his friends and family.
Menick is survived by his mother, Gisele (Moreau) Beauregard of Lawrence; wife, Denise (Dumont) Beauregard; daughters, Sylvie Wills and husband, Gregory, of Lawrence, Mass., Manon Beauregard and fiancé, Eric Stringneur, of Deerfield, N.H. and son, Richard Beauregard of Salem, N.H.; grandchildren, Kylie, Tristan, RJ and Savannah; his siblings and spouses, Francine Berube, wife of late husband Jeannot Berube, Pauline and Jacques Dube, Adeline and Jean-Noel Dumont, Nicole and Conrad Dumont, Laval and Nicole Beauregard, Clermond Beauregard, Celine and Pierre Fortier, Gervais and Theresa Beauregard, Marc and Pamela Beauregard, Lise Beauregard, and Guy and Judy Beauregard and his mother-in-law, Bernadette Dumont. He also leaves many sisters and brothers-in-law, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.
His family would love to thank Holy Family Hospital Oncology while under the care of his oncologist Dr. Lin for the wonderful care he received.
ARRANGEMENTS: Friends and relatives are invited to call on Friday, September 20, from 4-8 p.m. at the Goundrey & Dewhirst Funeral Home, 42 Main St., Salem. A funeral Mass will be held the following day, September 21, at 10 a.m. in St. Joseph Parish, 40 Main St., Salem.
