Agnes Samia, 89

Methuen — Agnes Samia, 89, of Methuen passed away Saturday October 12, 2013 at Merrimack Valley Hospice House Haverhill. Agnes was born in Lawrence and was the daughter of the late Elias and Mary (Bohomdoney) Samia. Agnes was educated in Lawrence, and had been a lifelong resident.

Agnes was a loving and caring person, and volunteered at Holy Family Hospital for many years, and was an active participant at the Nevins Adult Day Care program. She also loved music, dancing and crocheting.

The family of Agnes would like to thank the Fidelity House of Methuen for the wonderful care and love they showed Agnes over the years, and would like to say a special thank you to Mary Ede for the love she showed Agnes.

Agnes is survived by her brother-in-law, Joseph Casale of Salem, N.H.; many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and great-nephews; and her friends and staff at Fidelity House.

ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to calling hours on Wednesday, October 16, from 9 to 11 a.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen, with her funeral service to take place at the conclusion of the calling hours at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at United Lebanese Cemetery, Lawrence.
