Marie Lariviere, 79


Groveland, MA — Marie Lariviere, 79, was born and raised in Chicago, Ill., and was the daughter of the late Henry and Mae Dziadkowiec; and sister of Nancy Kloos and Jean Gawlak.

Marie was an avid bingo player. She loved crocheting blankets for the veterans.

Marie work in the community, including the Pentucket School System, Haverhill Gazette, Groveland Town Hall, and Elder Services of Haverhill as a secretary. She also enjoyed working at Lucent, and retired from there.

Marie is survived by her five children, Diane Lafrance and husband, James, of Massachusetts, Donald Lariviere and fiancée, Jamie Morgan of Wyoming; Nancy Small and husband, Roger, of Virginia, Robert Lariviere and Lori Foucher of New Hampshire, and Joann LaForge of Texas; grandchildren, Michael, Kevin, Chantel and Cheyanne Lafrance, Nicholas, Angela, Kimberly, and Christina Lariviere, Brian, David, Ashly, and Erica Small, Lisa and Lexi Lariviere, Cambria and Jeffery LaForge; great-grandchildren, Kaylee and Bryce, children of Nicole and Brian Small, and Christopher, son of David Small and Mary Morrison. She was the mother in-law of Danielle, Terri, Kelli, and Daniel. She also leaves behind her beloved cat, Snowy.

ARRANGEMENTS: There will a celebration of Marie's life on Friday, November 8, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., at 12 South Hunt Road, Amesbury, Mass.
