Methuen — Louis A. Domingue, 93, a lifelong resident of Methuen, died on Saturday, November 8, 2013, at the Methuen Health & Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Methuen on February 18, 1920, to Arthur & Grace (Courtemanch) Domingue. Educated in Methuen local school, he graduated from Methuen High School. He worked at Adams Sponging Co. in Boston, until his retirement after 40 years. He was a member of Methuen Brownies and the Methuen Redmen.
He is the husband of the late Beatrice (Page) Domingue. He leaves his son, Michael N.and his wife, Joanne; grandson, Michael C., and great-grandson, Christopher Domingue all of Derry, N.H.; daughter-in-law, Grace Fontaine of Methuen; grandchildren, William and Elliot Fontaine both of Methuen; and several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his brother, Charles Domingue; his sisters, Rita Provencial and Teresa Domingue; and a son, William “Butch” Fontaine.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 13, at 7 p.m.
Friends may call on Wednesday, from 5 to 7 p.m., at the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, Mass.
