Methuen — James J. Riley, 55, of Methuen, died on Thursday at Lawrence General Hospital.
James was born in Lawrence on July 12,1958. He graduated from St. Patrick Grammar School in Lawrence and Killingly High School in Danielson, Conn. James was self employed as a painter.
He is survived by his parents, Charles and Ella (Richards) Riley of Methuen; his sister, Nancy Riley of North Andover; and his brother, Michael Riley and his wife, Cheryl, of Derry, N.H. Also among his survivors are his three nieces; two great-nephews; and two great-nieces. James was predeceased by his brother, Daniel C. Riley, who died in 1963.
ARRANGEMENTS: A funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, at 11:30 a.m., at St. Michael Church. Burial will follow in St Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence. Family and friends may call on Tuesday, from 9 to 11 a.m., at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover.
