Lawrence — Theresa L. Ferraro, 95, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 21, at the Berkeley Retirement and Nursing Center in Lawrence. She was born on March 19, 1918, and was the daughter of the late Donato and Concetta (Georgio) Ferraro.
Theresa was educated in the Lawrence Public School System. She was an employee of AT&T (formerly Western Electric) for over 30 years.
She was a lifelong member of Holy Rosary Church at Corpus Christi Parish, and was a member of the St. Rita Sodality.
Theresa is survived by her brother, Domenic and his wife, Dorothy Ferraro of Methuen, and her sister-in-law, Modestina Ferraro, also of Methuen, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony, Joseph and Frank, and her sisters, Mary Fusco, Julia Puglisi, Angelina Nicolosi, Elizabeth Trovato and sister-in-law, Mary (Laino) Ferraro.
Her family wishes to thank the entire staff of the Berkeley for the wonderful compassionate care given to Theresa and also for the kindness and consideration extended to her family members.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, December 27, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. Her Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday, December 28, at 9 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish in Holy Rosary Church, 35 Essex St., Lawrence. Interment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence.
