Haverhill — Liselotte (Kaiser) Panneton, 80, of Haverhill died Tuesday morning, December 24, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House after a short illness.
She was born in Rockenberg, Germany, June 5, 1933, daughter of the late Peter and Ottilie (Raab) Kaiser.
Mrs. Panneton was educated in Germany and came to the United States in 1959, resided in California, and moved to Haverhill in 1964.
A homemaker, she enjoyed raising her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Panneton was well-known for her elaborate garden which she cared for and tended to all year-round, and received awards from the Haverhill Garden Club.
She was the wife of the late John Panneton who died in 2005 and her survivors include a son, Michael N. Russell of Haverhill; four daughters, Donna Colby of Haverhill, Peggy Hannan of Haverhill, Lisa St. Jean and her husband, Stevan of Epping, N.H., and Kimberly Russell of Haverhill; a sister, Rosemarie Siebert of Germany; eight grandchildren, Buffy Russell and her boyfriend, Mat Mansell, Richard McPhee, Nicholas St. Jean, John St. Jean, Michael St. Jean, Michael Russell, Jennifer Roy, and Amy Hannan; as well as several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral on Saturday morning, Dec. 28, at 9 a.m. from the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. James Church, Haverhill. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Haverhill.
