Methuen — Richard T. Muraco, 58, of Methuen, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, June 8, at his home. He was born in Lawrence and was the son of the late Thomas F. and Laura (Palumbo) Muraco, and brother of the late Thomas Muraco.
Richard was a graduate of Lawrence High School and Northeastern University. He worked for over 34 years as an Operations Manager at the former Loren Products on Canal Street in Lawrence. He was most recently employed at Rose Displays in Salem, Mass., as the Purchasing Manager. Richard was always willing to lend a hand to family and friends and will be sadly missed. Richard so enjoyed playing cards, horseshoes, bocci ball, long walks on the beach, and sharing meals with family.
Richard is survived by his beloved wife, Lisa (Strzelewicz) Muraco; his son, Michael Muraco of Methuen; his brothers, Frank Muraco of Plaistow, N.H., Joseph Muraco and his wife, Susan of Haverhill and William Muraco of Haverhill; and his sisters, Mary D’Angelo and her husband, Paul of Methuen, Rita Muraco of Haverhill, Laura Danese and her husband, Anthony of Haverhill and Rosalie Muraco of Hudson, N.H. He leaves his mother and father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, and many nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, June 13, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 14, at St. Lucy’s Church, 254 Merrimack St., Methuen. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in memory of Richard T.
