Hampton, NH — Charles D. Doyle, 75, of Hampton, died Tuesday, June 10, 2014, at Merrimack Valley Hospice House, Haverhill.
He was born in Pueblo, Colo., Nov. 22, 1938, a son of the late John W. and Margaret A. (Daugherty) Doyle.
Charles graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, Colo., and was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He made his home in Hampton since 1993 coming from Stratham and prior to that lived in Salem for 20 years.
Mr. Doyle worked as a mechanic for United Parcel Service in Dover for 25 years, retiring in 1993. After his retirement from UPS, he was employed by Robbins Auto Parts in Hampton as a counter person.
He was the husband of the late Frances M. (Champi) Doyle, who predeceased him in 2013.
He leaves behind his son, William Doyle of East Hampstead.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by a son, Thomas Doyle, who died in 1983.
ARRANGEMENTS: Visiting hours will be from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Friday, June 13, 2014, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m., following the visitation in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Burial will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2014, in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
