Windham, N.H. — William Calvin “Billy” Salter age 56 of Windham, N.H., died Sunday at Parkland Medical Center, Derry, N.H. He was born in Lowell and grew up and was educated in Tewksbury. He was a resident of Windham for the past 17 years, formerly of Tyngsboro.
Billy was a carpenter and set dresser in the television and the motion picture industry. He was also a self employed carpenter and owned his own siding company for over 20 years. He loved building model airplanes and boats and was a member of the AMA Academy of Model Aviation. He was also a member of IATSE, Local 481. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, boating, and watching movies.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy (D’Amore) Salter of Windham; daughter, Elizabeth Salter of Windham; mother, Anna (Hanley) Salter Fremont, N.H.; brother, Ken Salter of Nottingham, N.H; sisters, Donna Wright of Amesbury, , Kathy Reid of Fremont, N.H., Judy Salter of Fremont, N.H.; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins
ARRANGEMENTS: Calling hours will be held Friday, November 2 from 4-7:30 PM, followed by a funeral service at 7:30 p.m. at the Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, N.H.
