Andover — Robert C. Worthley, beloved husband and father, passed away peacefully on November 14th, 2012 surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Medford, on February 26, 1934 to Charles W. Worthley of Massachusetts (deceased) and Phosine M. Beaudry of Vermont (deceased). He was an Army veteran, honorably serving his country on The Armed Forces Radio Network.
Bob and his devoted wife Patricia resided in Andover for nearly 40 years, raising their six children. He was a lifelong entrepreneur in the auto industry, retiring in 1990.
Besides his wife, Patricia, he leaves behind his children; Kevin R. Worthley of Richmond, R.I., Keith P. Worthley of Newton, Kim A. Bertholet of Laconia, N.H., Karyn J. Pierog of Sandown, N.H., Kirk C. Worthley of Newton, and Kyle J. Worthley of North Andover. He also leaves many extended family members and beloved grandchildren. Bob was a lifelong outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may call Friday November 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover. A funeral mass will be offered on Saturday, November 17, at 1:30 p.m. in St. Augustine Church, Andover, burial will be private at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Robert's memory may be sent to Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation National Processing Center PO Box 1245, Albert Lea, MN 56007-9976.
