Methuen — Millicent “Millie” (Bailey) Zenevitch, 82, of Methuen, passed away on Saturday January 18, 2014, at her home in Methuen, with her family by her side.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she was the daughter of the late Lena (Vaillancourt) Sirois and Omer–Beau Sirois. She attended Our Lady of Good Counsel/ St. Theresa’s Church in Methuen.
Millie was employed as a receptionist with Dr. Langevin and Boes Dental, and before her retirement, she worked at Daher Shoe in Methuen.
Millie made friends with everyone she met and loved to spend time at the beach.
Millie is survived by her husband of 62 years, John J. Zenevitch of Methuen. Millie also leaves her children, Cheryl Oakleaf of Peoria, Ariz., Ellen Francis of Methuen, Jay Zenevitch and his companion, Sandy Moses of Reading, Mass., and Mark Zenevitch and his wife, Sharon, of Worcester, Mass.; grandchildren, Kelly West and her husband, Steve, Valerie Waldie and her husband, Jeff, Robert Oakleaf, John Moses, Ryan, Daniel, and Liz Zenevitch; great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Kyle, Ryan, and Cheyenne; and several nieces and nephews. Millie also is survived by her brother-in-law, Bernard Zenevitch and his wife Marilyn.
ARRANGEMENTS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 480 Pleasant St., Watertown, MA 02472. Visiting hours for family and friends will be on Tuesday, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, at 10 a.m., in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Theresa’s Church, Methuen, with burial to follow in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen.
