North Andover — Antonia “Annie” (Cuosmano) Perillo, 96, formally of Lawrence, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2013, at Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover, after a battle with cancer. Annie was born in Rockford, Ill., and was the daughter of the late Peter and Frances (Coracci) Cuosmano, and the widower of Albert Perillo, who passed away in 1972.
Antonia was a faithful member of Lawrence English Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Lawrence, and preached and lived by the word and work of Jehovah.
She was immensely comforted by the unwavering assurance that Jehovah was ultimately in complete control of everything, and that he held her hand as she journeyed through her passage.
Antonia worked in the factories of Lawrence as a shoe stitcher for many years. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and baking, but most of all she loved and cared for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will never be forgotten and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but most of all, by her loving family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the nurses and staff of Prescott House for their wonderful care of Annie while she was a resident there.
She is survived by her sons, Bart Perillo and his wife, Anna, of Spring Hill, Fla., and Peter Perillo and his wife, Donna, of Enfield, N.H.; her sister, Frances Sideri of North Andover; her eight loving grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Annie was also predeceased by her son Ralph; her sister, Mar; and her brother, Tom.
