Susan Simon

North Andover — Susan (Heymann) Simon of Andover, on Saturday, November 10, 2012.

For 49 years she was the beloved wife of the late Edward H. Simon; loving mother of Donald and Susana Simon of Burke, VA., Gary Simon, and Margo and Neil Golden of Boston; cherished grandmother of Elena and Eva Simon, Andrew and Craig Golden; devoted sister of the late Ellen Knopf, and Inge Meyer; dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

ARRANGEMENTS: Services at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road, Andover on Tuesday, November 13 at 11 a.m. Following the burial at Temple Emanuel of Andover Cemetery, memorial observance (shiva) will be at Temple Emanuel through 3 p.m.

Remembrances may be made to Temple Emanuel or a charity of your choice.

    Haverhill — Joseph P. Randazza, 80, passed away peacefully on July 4, 2014, at the Merrimack Valley Hospice House, after living with pancreatic cancer for more than six years. He was surrounded by the love of his son, daughter and wife. Joe was the husband of H. Jacqueline “Jackie” Randazza, who shared her love of life with Joe and lovingly cared for him during his declining years. Jackie would like to acknowledge the assistance provided by the Merrimack Valley Hospice home care providers. Their professionalism and respect was evident.

He was 90.

William “Bill” Magro; and daughter of the late Joseph and Regina (Cossette) Adams. She is survived by three children, William E. Magro and his wife, Frances (Piazza) Magro of Methuen, Thomas A. Magro of Nashua, N.H., and his fiancée, Darlene Forsyth of Dracut, and Janet M. (Smith) Consoli and her husband, Stephen, of Hampton, N.H.; former daughter in-law, Maureen Magro of Dunstable; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a grandson, Shad Smith; brothers, Joseph Adams and Francis Adams; and a sister, Pauline Kingman.

He grew up near Broadstairs in Kent and enlisted in the Royal Marines at the start of World War II. He met his beloved first wife, the late Martha E. (Garlick) Henderson of Methuen, in 1941 while on leave in the Boston area. During the war James fought on land and sea across five continents.

While her later years were primarily a homemaker, Ann Marie’s early career was as an accountant.

Born on March 20, 1926, she grew up in South Lawrence, attending St. Patrick's High School, where she was valedictorian of her senior class. She briefly attended college before returning home to help provide for her family during WWII. She went back to school later in life to become a Licensed Practical Nurse, and ended her employment working for Hewlet-Packard.

John was born in Medford on Feb. 19, 1937 to the late Anthony and Angelina (Christoforo) D’Amore. He graduated from Medford High School in 1955 where he played football and hockey. John spent most of his life working in the construction industry as a project estimator/manager. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports especially football and hockey. John was also a longtime youth hockey coach.
