John R. Winning Jr., of North Andover, passed away Sunday, March 11th at Lawrence General Hospital. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that John had touched throughout his life.
John (known as Jack) spent his life working in the auto industry. In his earlier years, he owned a service station where he was a mechanic. And in his most recent years he worked for an Auto Dealership as a key member of the parts department. Jack was an avid NASCAR fan and had a lifelong passion for fishing. He was very talented with his hands and would often spend time building or fixing things at his two daughters homes. Affectionately known as Papa, his greatest joy was spending time with his family & friends, especially his 7 grandchildren.
He is survived by his devoted daughters, Jaclyn Clark and her husband Christopher of Mont Vernon, NH and Christine Gaffny and her husband Jeffrey of Londonderry, NH. He also leaves behind 7 adoring grandchildren; CJ, Alexandra, Brandon, and Taylor Clark and Colin, Colby and Caleb Gaffny.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Monday from 11 am to 1 pm at the Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third Street, North Andover, Ma. A private Burial will follow at Ridgewood Cemetery, North Andover.
