North Andover, MA — Arthur Gulezian, 93 of North Andover and formerly of Haverhill, died Monday, April 15, at The Meadows, North Andover.
He was born in Haverhill, January 31, 1920, son of the late Peter and Pauline (Terzian) Gulezian.
Educated in the Haverhill school system, Mr. Gulezian graduated from Haverhill High School, Class of 1937. From 1942 to 1946, he served in the United States Air Force attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was employed at the former Swift & Co., for five years and for Lionel Lavallee Meat Co., for 17 years. In 1971, Mr. Gulezian co-founded Merrimack Valley Investments, Haverhill, from where he retired. A member of the Boston Stock Exchange since 1971, he was a longtime member of the First Church of Christ, Bradford.
He was the husband of the late Lydia (Barlow) Gulezian who died in 1979, and the late Margarita (Skrivanos) Gulezian who died in 1996, and brother of the late Haig Gulezian who died in 2002. Mr. Gulezian was also predeceased by his companion of 13 years, June Nelson who died in February, 2013. His survivors include a stepson, Nicholas Rathosis, of Belmont, N.H.; a stepdaughter, Angela Konstantinou, of Poulithra, Greece; three brothers, Barkev and his wife, Hasmig Gulezian, of Lynnfield, Robert and his wife, Jacqueline Gulezian, of Haverhill, Richard and his wife, Yvonne Gulezian, of Brentwood, N.H.; a sister, Ruby Aprahamian, of Paramus, N.J.; two sisters-in-law, Helen Koutsogianopoulos, of North Reading, and Gladys Gulezian, of Seabrook, N.H.; a brother-in-law, Antonios Skrivanos, of Haverhill, and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his Funeral Service on Friday morning, April 19, at 10 a.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home, 106 Summer St., Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
