Andover — Suk Man “Suki” Park, 82, of Andover passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 26, 2014, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Boston. He was born is Seoul, Korea, and he came to America in 1975.
Mr. Park was a founding member of the North Boston Korean United Methodist Church in Andover where he served the community as a church elder and very active in the Boston Korean community. He was the owner and operator of Park Auto Body in Lawrence for over 30 years.
He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Jung Sun (Choi) Park of Andover; his sons, Woo Jin “Jim” Park of Buffalo, N.Y., and Sung Jin Park and his fiancé, Erin Tucholke of Eugene, Ore.; his only grandson, Adam Picard-Park of Buffalo, N.Y. He also leaves his sisters, Kumok “Kim” Hashem and her husband, John of North Andover and Ni Mi Park of Seoul, Korea; and his brother, Soo Man “Charles” Park of New York City, N.Y.; and many nieces and nephews, cousins and close church friends. He was predeceased his brother, Uk Man Park.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visiting hours on Tuesday, April 29, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley St., Methuen. His Funeral Services will take place on Wednesday, April 30, at 10 a.m. at North Boston Korean United Methodist Church, Route 133, 244 Lowell St., Andover, MA. Interment will follow at West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover.
