Lorraine B. (Hoyt) Adinolfi


No. Salem, NH — Lorraine B. (Hoyt) Adinolfi, 90, a longtime resident of North Salem, N.H., died Tuesday morning, July 22, at Academy Manor Nursing Home, Andover, Mass.

She was born in Boston on September 29, 1922, and was the daughter of the late Irvin and Violetta (Batchelder) Hoyt.

Educated in the East Boston School System, Mrs. Adinolfi graduated from East Boston High School and Chelsea Soldiers Home School of Nursing.

For several years, she was employed as a nurse at the Chelsea Soldiers Home, where she was a recipient of the Quigley Award.

Mrs. Adinolfi was a 70 member of the Order of The Eastern Star Chapter and was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church, Salem, N.H., and the Ingrams Senior Center, Salem.

She enjoyed crocheting, church activities and traveling.

She was the wife of the late Eugene Adinolfi, and her survivors include a daughter, Linda L. Anderson Burnett of Salem; a son, Alan James Burnett of Martha’s Vineyard; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mrs. Adinolfi was the former wife of James Burnett of North Reading.

ARRANGEMENTS: At her request funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family, with burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in North Salem. Arrangements are by the H.L.
